Do you have an example for the Unit Commitment and Dispatch Optimisation?
The Unit Commitment and Dispatch Optimisation module was new in PowerFactory 2019. The module solves the unit commitment linear-programming problem over a predefined period of time, while optimising the operating point of the dispatched generators so as to minimise overall operating costs. The attached project has been set up to allow a Unit Commitment and Dispatch Optimisation simulation to be executed. A Unit Commitment and Dispatch Optimisation licence is required in order to execute the calculation, but even if you don’t have the licence, the linked video guides you through the example and gives you an idea how it works.
