How are the load and no-load losses of the network components calculated?
1. Lines:
• Losses = P(terminal i) + P(terminal j)
• Losses (no load) = U(terminal i)2* B1/2 + U(terminal j)2* B1/2 ,(B1 line susceptance C1,G1 . . . )
• Losses (load) = Losses - Losses(no load)
2. 2-Winding Transformer:
• Losses = P(HV) + P(LV)
• Losses (no load) = Um * (actual calculated magnetizing current)
• Losses (load) = Losses - Losses (no load)
3. 3-Winding Transformer:
• Losses = P(HV) + P(MV) + P(LV)
• Losses (no load) = Um * (actual calculated magnetizing current)
• Losses (load) = Losses - Losses (no load)
4. Common models:
• Losses = P(terminal i) + P(terminal j) + . . .
• Losses (no load) = 0
• Losses (load) = Losses - Losses(no load)
5. Grid/Zone:
• Losses = SUM of losses for all elements stored in the grid (referred to the zone)
• Losses (no load) = SUM of losses (no load) for all elements stored in the grid (referred to the zone)
• Losses (load) = SUM of losses (load) for all elements stored in the grid (referred to the zone)
