This example shows how measured data in Comtrade format can be displayed and replayed.

The attached file "Playback_Comtrade_File.zip" is suitable for PowerFactory versions prior to 2025. Please follow these steps to configure the location of the Comtrade files:

1. After import: Please select the data folder where you stored the comtrade files (*.cfg and *.dat).
2. Right click for this at the project--> Edit --> Project Settings.
3. Switch to "External Data" and select the correct path under "External Data Directory".
4. You may have to deactivate and activate the project to update the linked files.

The attached file "Playback_Comtrade_File.pfdx" is suitable for PowerFactory 2025, and it already contains the Comtrade files as external data, with no need for additional configuration.
