How do I set a Authority URI?
When converting my grid to CGMES, I receive an error stating “At least one selected grid has no Authority URI”. What is a Model Authority Set? What is to be selected here?
In the CIM profile CGMES an export must be done using a specific Model Authority Set (MAS). The MAS describes with who exported the data. Dependent on the process, this MAS might include multiple TSOs and/or Countries. Here each process defines who has the Authority to distribute these data.
The definition for the MAS can be selected freely, but should define who exports the data and be unique. Therefore often the internet address of the corresponding is used (e.g. http://www.digsilent.de/). However, the MAS could also be every other string.
When running a CIM to Grid conversion, each MAS is representing a grid (ElmNet). When running a Grid to CIM conversion the user can define, which grids are to be converted with which MAS. Hereby the different grids can have different, similar or both MAS. Grids having the same MAS will be aggregated as CIM data.
