What are Versions used for in PowerFactory?

Answer
A PowerFactory project version is a snapshot of the project at a particular point in time. Once a version has been created, the project can later on be rolled back to that version if there is a need to do so. However, the main use of versions is in conjunction with Base and Derived projects, commonly used in multi-user databases, where many uses need to access a common network model.
