DPSP 2024 in Manchester

DPSP 2024 (March 4th- 7th) saw over 200 engineers from 23 countries in attendance. The programme featured presentations from esteemed speakers from TSOs, DNOs, developers, regulators, OEMs, academia and others. Panel discussions covered topics such as renewable energy integration, protection of low inertia systems with increasing penetration of DERs, IEC61850, and workforce diversity. The sessions offered insights into the future of the industry. The closing session highlighted key takeaways, including the future challenges for maintaining power system stability with the ongoing introduction of inverter-based resources.
