Grid Integration Week 2019, Dublin, Ireland

Experts from around the world met in Dublin from October 14th to October 18th at the Grid Integration Week, to discuss grid integration of wind, solar and e-mobility applications.

Bernd Weise of DIgSILENT presented a study on “Comparison of Selected Grid-Forming Converter Control Strategies for Use in Power Electronic Dominated Power Systems” during the Wind Integration Workshop, highlighting the role of grid-forming converter control strategies for stable operation of power electronic (PE) dominated power systems.
