PowerFactory training for the next generation

From 8 to 9 July 2024, DIgSILENT held a PowerFactory training course for interested electrical engineering students from the VDE Kurpfalz district association. At the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, the vice Chairman of the VDE Kurpfalz, Prof Dr Karsten Glöser, welcomed the 18 participants. The following two days then focussed on load flow and short-circuit calculation with PowerFactory. There were also several excursions into advanced features of the software.

The training enabled the students to gain important experience in using modern network calculation software, discover the advantages of PowerFactory and get to know DIgSILENT as a company. For DIgSILENT and the VDE, the training of young scientists is an important concern, so the training was free of charge for the students.
