Steag Energy Service seminar: AI Applications in the Power Sector

Our partner in the Indian market Steag Energy Service invited DIgSILENT to join the 2024 seminar on “AI Applications in the Power Sector” in New Delhi on 29th January. Over 250 delegates from various companies of the power sector such as grid operators, power producers, software developers and research participated at the conference. In the seminar DIgSILENT introduced the Artificial Intelligence module of PowerFactory. The AI module can be used to run simulations based on time-series data much faster. Use cases were carried out and discussed with the audience as well as further developments in the application of AI. Besides the well-organized panels the conference offered a lot of room to discuss the challenges of the Indian power sector.
